Convert all Microsoft SQL schema to PostgreSQL, including tables, indexes, views. Converted database schema must be accessible and compatible with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) standard interfaces.
Convert all Microsoft SQL stored procedures to PostgreSQL function.
Integrate with C++ applications.
Write unit tests to verify all schemas.
Data migration & schema upgrade. Experience with Flyway or Liquibase is a plus.
Database engine deployment on Window Servers.
Any bugs are rectified.
Improve performance by using PL/pgSQL.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL (3+ years of experience)
Expert Level SQL, PL/pgSQL, including stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
Experienced in data migration
Experienced in shell scripts (Bash or Powershell)
Experienced in C++, Python is a plus.
Experience with Git
Ability to efficiently write database code without compromising data quality, privacy, or security.
Knowledge of database design principles, query optimization, index management, integrity checks, statistics, and isolation levels.
Ability to read, understand, and review code well.
Logical thinking, enthusiasm, hard work, good pressure, responsible for assigned work.
