JOB SUMMARY
The Operational Excellence Engineer is responsible for facilitating and coordinating continuous improvement initiatives at the site level. This role plays a pivotal part in driving operational efficiency, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborates with cross-functional teams primarily at a local level, to create and revise processes and systems, and monitor progress towards the global OpEx strategy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Serves as a local subject matter expert in Lean/Six Sigma tool applications and how they can be applied to new and existing improvements.
• Collaborates with department heads and cross-functional teams to lead and coach on the use of the Lean/Six Sigma toolbox. Coordinates the implementation of Lean/Six Sigma tools to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
• Foster a culture of Operational Excellence by providing proper training and standardizing procedures, including Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, agile and any other required methodologies.
• Analyzes operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepares regular reports on the progress and impact of operational excellence initiatives. Lean Thinker that drives the culture with a mindset of Continuous Improvement.
