The Magento Developer plays a key role in designing and developing eCommerce applications using the Magento eCommerce Platform. The successful candidate will work alongside our eCommerce business team.
• Develop Magento E-commerce and CMS solutions following the software development lifecycle
• Keep Magento knowledge up to date, be aware of new versions and updates and upgrade to the latest release if necessary
• Mentor other members of the team
• Write documentation of current and future configurations, processes and procedures ways to enhance functionality and increase conversions
• Determines operational feasibility by analysis, problem definition, requirements solution development and proposed solutions

• Experienced in Magento 2.1+ and follow Magento best practices
• Experienced in optimizing the code & server for high traffic websites
• Experienced with Redis, Memcached
• Familiar with MariaDB or MySQL, design database, solve performance issues
• Familiar with front-end web technologies like RequireJS, JQuery, knockout.JS, HTML/ CSS coding skills and Ajax.
• Familiar with writing unit test in PHPUnit
• You are well versed in best practices in OOP, design patterns, SOLID principles, and data driven design
• Able to write well-structured, maintainable code
• Can-do-attitude and put the goals of the team before your own prestige
Nice to have:
• Previous work experience with Amazon Web Services
• Experience with GIT, CLI
• Comfort working with Linux server, deployment and configuration
