JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a Senior Executive underwriter with specialized knowledge in risk assessment for Property and Engineering. Underwriter is expected to have meticulous attention to detail, good negotiating skills and work according to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Underwriter should be analytical and exceptional communicator with brilliant research and classification skills. Candidates with good risk analysis and selection with remarkable decision-making skills, a deep understanding of assessing property and engineering risk as well as reinsurance arrangement will be preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assess risk according to risk information provided by marketing; liaising with relevant teams and departments including marketing, risk engineering etc. to collect appropriate and accurate information required to assess risk
2. Review and revise and/or propose proper terms and conditions to each risk following internal regulation and risk quality
3. Make decision on acceptance, modification or decline risk based on given authority; process with referral to authorized person if required
