REPORT TO: Global Sourcing Manager & Vietnam General Manager
REPORT TO:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND GOALS FOR THE ROLE
• The main purpose of position is to support in site related sourcing activities, drive efforts in exploring, initiating, developing, and validating suppliers and opportunities in quality, supply and cost savings.
• To be continuous involved in site related Supplier Selection Process and when requested engaged in Global sourcing activities.
• Act as link between global sourcing and site operation in regards to sourcing and suppliers.
• Responsibility in sourcing process to develop and ensure a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery performance and technology.
• Act as the commercial interface between suppliers, manufacturing and engineers.
• Ensure that the Sourcing process is implemented
• Do other tasks corresponding to the job requirements as well as regulations of the company, accrediting agencies and Vietnamese law as assigned and instructed by the leaders.
TASKS AND RECURRING ACTIVITIES
• To drive and lead sourcing work including RFQ’s, evaluation, negotiations to develop and ensure well functional supplier base and reliable supply chain for local suppliers.
