• Create tech packs and handle assigned styles from CAD to sample stage.
• Liaise with internal (design, merchandising, technical) and external teams (suppliers, factories) throughout development.
• Handover to technical and merchandising team.
• Liaise with printing/ embellishment, washing plants.
• Check on sample whilst in process.
• Review final fit on dummy before being dispatched – with the Assistant Design Manager.
• Support the Assistant Manager / Senior Design Manager to ensure constant interaction and seasonal feeds are proposed to the customer on time.
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging tools, and technologies to incorporate fresh ideas and approaches into design projects.
• Give direction to the graphic designers on the artworks that they need to work on for the styles or strike offs – with the guidance of the direct manager.
• Liaise with & ordering fabrics / trims for the relevant season based on the seasonal proposals proactively – with the guidance of the direct manager.
• Build relationships with the suppliers (i.e. fabric trims embellishment, printing, washing) in ensuring seasonal feeds.
• Ensure Boardroom setups are Customer specific & the prep prior to the meeting is done – including coordinating with factories and Merch teams to bring down the samples relevant for the visit.
