1. Evaluate new furniture products during development, assessing and enhancing material properties, structural integrity, and packaging solutions to meet safety regulations and industry standards.
2. Oversee the validation process for pre-production samples, color boards, and related materials.
3. Perform routine on-site audits of suppliers to evaluate their production techniques, quality management systems, and delivery performance, ensuring ongoing improvements.
4.Support suppliers in troubleshooting quality concerns, developing corrective action plans, and tracking their implementation to enhance overall quality standards.
5. Develop and refine quality benchmarks and inspection protocols for materials, structures, and packaging to ensure compliance with U.S. market regulations (e.g., CPSC, ASTM).
6. Analyze quality data to detect potential issues, working collaboratively across departments to refine product designs and production processes.
7. Work closely with PD department and suppliers to address quality issues in product development and mass production, ensuring timely project completion.
8. Manage customer-reported quality issues, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
