Contract duration: 01. September 2025 until 31. August 2028
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Implementing daily operational aspects of all issues related to technology for wood processing SMEs
• Setting up and managing SME digitalization support programs for wood processing SMEs
• Advising on technology usage to help SMEs achieve business outcomes (reduced costs, efficiency gains) and climate goals (circular economy, energy efficiency, etc.)
• Conceptually linking wood processing to energy efficiency, sustainable energy usage, circular economy and other forms of sustainable resource usage
• Technical advice and organizational development for wood processing SMEs in the field of digitalization
• Designing activities for SME sensitization, SME trainings, Train-The-Trainer, and other forms of technical assistance for wood processing SMEs
• Strategic partnership development on wood processing and other topics of sustainable economic development
• Knowledge management within GIZ Viet Nam, regional GIZ offices, the GIZ headquarters as well as outside the GIZ on the topic of climate-neutral wood processing technologies
